Broodmare rental
By leasing our broodmares, you can obtain a foal with outstanding bloodlines.
The price of the foal will be €3,000, payable in two installments:
a) The first €1,500 at the time of selecting the stallion and the broodmare.
b) The second €1,500 upon taking the foal at weaning.
The price includes the mating with one of our stallions and the choice of the broodmare, veterinary care consisting of supervision of the mare until foaling, necessary care of the foal until weaning – which usually takes place at five months – and stable training.
If you choose a stallion outside our stud, whether by natural cover or artificial insemination, the costs will be your responsibility.
If during gestation the mare aborts, reabsorbs, or the foal dies before weaning, Yeguada Almenara Alta will take care of re-covering the mare. If the mare was not covered by one of our stallions, the costs will be borne by the client.
Yeguada Almenara Alta will register the foal at no cost to the purchaser.
